ANNOUNCEMENT Mobility Grants – Academic Year 2025–2026

The University of Carthage is offering a number of mobility grants to its Doctoral Schools and affiliated institutions accredited to deliver doctoral programs. These grants are awarded to outstanding and high-achieving students enrolled in doctoral studies up to their third registration year, or exceptionally to second-year Master’s research students in institutions that are not accredited to offer doctoral programs, or in certain priority or underrepresented specializations.

The following criteria will be used for the selection of applications:

  • Baccalaureate average grade
  • Regular academic record without failure
  • Average grades during university studies:
    • Bachelor’s and Master’s averages for institutions offering Bachelor’s degrees
    • Average grades in engineering studies for engineering schools
  • Priority will be given to students enrolled in the second and third year of doctoral studies.
  • Priority will also be given to students enrolled under joint supervision agreements, provided that the agreement is signed by all parties.

In this context, the University invites students wishing to apply for mobility grants to submit their applications starting from February 13 and no later than March 13, 2026, to their respective institutions.

Required Documents

  • Copy of National Identity Card
  • Printed grant application form downloaded from the website www.best.rnu.tn, duly completed and signed, to be submitted to the student’s home institution
  • Copy of enrollment certificate for the current academic year
  • Baccalaureate transcript
  • Engineering transcripts (for holders of the National Engineering Degree)
  • Bachelor’s transcripts
  • Master’s transcripts
  • Copy of the first page of the passport
  • Recommendation letter from the academic supervisor
  • Invitation letter from the host institution specifying the internship duration
  • Copy of the joint supervision agreement signed by all parties (if applicable)
  • Research program to be conducted at the host institution, approved by the host party
  • Commitment form related to mobility grants, downloaded from the website, duly completed and legalized
  • Certificate of non-affiliation with social security funds

Important Notes

  • Online registration via the grant website (www.best.rnu.tn) is mandatory.
  • Any incomplete application, submitted after the deadline, or not bearing the stamp of the institution’s registry office will be rejected.
  • Applicants must comply with all provisions stated in the Ministry’s announcement available on the website (www.best.rnu.tn).
  • Students may postpone their departure only once, and only in duly justified exceptional cases. Postponement requests must be approved by both the institution and the University.
  • This call concerns internships scheduled to begin from May 1, 2026, provided that the start date does not exceed October 1, 2026, and the end date does not exceed December 31, 2026.
