Scholarships at the University of Carthage

National:

Scholarships for Master’s and Doctorate Studies for the Academic Year 2017–2018
As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research program aimed at training university educators abroad, the Ministry has announced scholarships for elite students to pursue master’s and doctorate studies in the following disciplines:

The University of Carthage informs students enrolled in the second year of a research master’s degree or the first three years of a doctorate who wish to benefit from an exchange scholarship for the year 2016 that they must submit their application by May 16, 2016.

Required Documents:

  • Application form (downloaded from the ministry’s website, best.rnu.tn), completed, signed, and submitted to the institution.
  • A copy of the current academic year’s registration certificate (2015–2016).
    Support letter from the thesis supervisor.
  • Copy of the national ID card.
  • Invitation from the host institution specifying the internship period.
  • A copy of the first page of the passport.
  • Copy of the fully signed cotutelle agreement by the foreign partner.
  • Research program approved by the host institution.
  • High school transcripts.
  • Transcripts for the years of study leading to the engineering degree.
  • Transcripts for the years of study leading to a bachelor’s degree.
  • Transcripts for the years of study leading to a master’s degree.

A copy of the master’s degree certificate.

Important Notes:

  • Online registration is mandatory (best.rnu.tn).
  • Applications with missing documents will be automatically rejected.
  • Postponements are granted only in exceptional cases and must be justified.
  • Postponement requests must be addressed to the University.Selection Criteria:
  • Average score obtained in the high school diploma (Baccalaureate).
  • Number of years required to obtain the bachelor’s, master’s, or engineering degree (no repetition).
  • Average grades during university studies.
  • Priority given to third-year doctoral students.
  • Priority given to students enrolled in cotutelle (agreement signed by all partners).

    Call for Applications for Exchange Scholarships (January 2019)

    The University of Carthage announces scholarships for doctoral and second-year master’s students in research fields. The aim is to support exceptional students enrolled in doctoral programs or specific master’s specializations in shortage areas.

Documents Required:

  • Scholarship application form downloaded from www.best.rnu.tn.
  • A copy of the national ID card.
  • A copy of the passport’s first page.
  • Certificate of registration for the current academic year.
  • High school transcript.
  • Bachelor’s degree transcripts.
  • Master’s degree transcripts.
  • Engineering school transcripts (for engineering students).
  • Invitation from the host institution specifying the duration or a certificate of registration at the foreign institution (if under joint supervision).
  • Research program approved by the host institution.
  • Support letter from the supervisor.
  • Cotutelle agreement signed by all parties.
  • Proof of non-affiliation to social security funds.

Important Notes:

Online registration is mandatory (www.best.rnu.tn).
Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
Postponement of travel is allowed only once, for at least a month, in exceptional cases.

The University of Carthage informs students in their third year of the engineering program who wish to apply for an end-of-studies scholarship for 2016 that the deadline for submission is January 4, 2016.

Required Documents:

  1. Application form downloaded from best.rnu.tn, completed and submitted.
  2. Copy of the current academic year registration certificate (2015–2016).
  3. Support letter from the project supervisor.
  4. Copy of the national ID card.
  5. Invitation from the host institution specifying the internship period or a copy of the internship agreement.
  6. A copy of the first page of the passport.
  7. Signed and notarized commitment downloaded from the website.
  8. Financial reimbursement commitment for the additional scholarship, signed and notarized.
  9. Copies of engineering degree transcripts.
  10. Guarantee statement.
