Under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Carthage and the University of Tunis El Manar, in collaboration with the Arab Association of Registrars and Admissions Officers in Arab Universities—operating under the Association of Arab Universities—are organizing the 42nd Annual Conference of Arab-ACRAO, to be held from 18 to 20 December 2025 in Yasmine Hammamet.

This year’s conference will be held under the theme:
“The Role of Admissions and Registration in Enhancing the Global Ranking of Universities.”

The event will gather participants from 18 countries, and Tunisia is hosting this conference for the second time, following the success of the 40th edition held in December 2023.

The conference aims to strengthen cooperation and openness among universities across the Arab region by promoting the exchange of expertise in admissions and registration within higher education and research institutions. It also seeks to share best practices related to information systems used to ensure transparency and efficiency in national and international student admissions and registration procedures.

Furthermore, the conference will explore how these mechanisms contribute to increasing the visibility of universities, improving their global ranking, and facilitating international accreditation according to global standards.
