University of Carthage

A national leader in implementing the National Student-Entrepreneur Status through PEEC

UCAR drives a university-wide entrepreneurship strategy. Since 2018, PEEC has served as the operational hub, delivering NSES/SNEE programs, scaling support, and measuring impact.

-Governance & Leadership: PEEC operates under the UCAR Presidency, led by a director, mission officers, a steering committee, and a network of academic referents.

-Delivery Mechanism (since 2018): PEEC follows a “learning by doing” approach, with training and mentoring at the core of its mission.
-NSEs Delivery Levers: The pathway consists of three levels—N1 Innovative Idea, N2 Business Plan, and N3 Startup Creation—offering academic benefits alongside tailored mentoring and coaching.

NCEE Award Timeline: UCAR Key Milestones

What to Demonstrate and What UCAR Should Emphasise

NCEE Award Application Structure (A–D)

The Award is built on three core sections (A/B/C, 30% each) plus one integration section (D, 10%)—UCAR must answer each section with a clear “strategy → delivery → impact” logic, supported by evidence.
Award Assessment Framework (A–D): What UCAR Must Demonstrate :

(embedding entrepreneurship through strategy, governance, commitment, inclusion)
(building entrepreneurial skills for students and staff through curriculum, support, mentoring)

(demonstrating partnerships and impact on society and the local/regional ecosystem)

(showing coherence across A–C as one joined-up system)
