UCAR drives a university-wide entrepreneurship strategy. Since 2018, PEEC has served as the operational hub, delivering NSES/SNEE programs, scaling support, and measuring impact.
-Governance & Leadership: PEEC operates under the UCAR Presidency, led by a director, mission officers, a steering committee, and a network of academic referents.
-Delivery Mechanism (since 2018): PEEC follows a “learning by doing” approach, with training and mentoring at the core of its mission.
-NSEs Delivery Levers: The pathway consists of three levels—N1 Innovative Idea, N2 Business Plan, and N3 Startup Creation—offering academic benefits alongside tailored mentoring and coaching.
UCAR will translate its entrepreneurial strategy into a concise, evidence-based application, with clear ownership per Award section and a disciplined review cycle, because the assessment is based on the application form
How UCAR will deliver a strong, evidence-based NCEE Award application :
The University of Carthage is a Premium Member of the Global Alliance of Entrepreneurial Universities, powered by the UK-based National Center for Entrepreneurship in Education - NCEE
UCAR’s strategy maturity is demonstrated through a university-wide entrepreneurial approach delivered via PEEC; fully committed to the NCEE Award, UCAR is now finalising an evidence-based full application for submission by 16 January 2026.
UCAR can differentiate its NCEE Award application through a scalable delivery model, a distinctive collaboration ecosystem, and strong early outcomes aligned with priority sectors.
According to the NCEE readiness site visit report (February 2025):
The Award is built on three core sections (A/B/C, 30% each) plus one integration section (D, 10%)—UCAR must answer each section with a clear “strategy → delivery → impact” logic, supported by evidence.
Award Assessment Framework (A–D): What UCAR Must Demonstrate :
(demonstrating partnerships and impact on society and the local/regional ecosystem)
(showing coherence across A–C as one joined-up system)
