University Of Carthage

Entrepreneurial Culture & Education

The University of Carthage promotes an entrepreneurial culture across its establishments and study pathways (LMD and engineering) by combining curriculum-based entrepreneurship education, experiential learning (projects, challenges, bootcamps), and structured support through the Student Entrepreneur Hub of Carthage (PEEC).

Entrepreneurship in LMD & Engineering

Depending on the establishment and programme, entrepreneurship learning is reinforced through transversal and/or mandatory modules and practice-based formats (projects, challenges, coaching). Common themes include:

Entrepreneurial culture and mindset

Fosters initiative, opportunity recognition, value creation, resilience, and proactivity.

Design thinking / innovation methods

and structured ideation-to-pitch formats (often via innovation camps and bootcamps).

PEEC as a Key Enabler of Entrepreneurial Culture

PEEC is UCAR’s key enabler linking entrepreneurship education with entrepreneurial culture in practice. It helps students translate what they learn in LMD and engineering programmes (projects, PFE/capstone work, innovation challenges) into structured entrepreneurial pathways through mentoring, coaching, and ecosystem access. PEEC also mobilizes and supports student entrepreneurs through initiatives and competitions, including for those benefiting from the National Student Entrepreneur Status (SNEE), reinforcing the entrepreneurial mindset across UCAR establishments.
