Following the meeting held last November in Tunis between the University of Carthage and a delegation from Technische Hochschule Ulm (THU), the University of Carthage has officially signed a cooperation agreement with its German partner.
The signing ceremony took place in Ulm, Germany, with the University of Carthage represented by Prof. Mongi Besbes, Vice-President, accompanied by Prof. Houda Ben Attia, Director of ENI Carthage, Ms. Afef Ben Othmen from ENI Carthage, Mr. Zied Tmar from ISTIC, and Prof. Nedra Assessi from ISSTE.
On the side of Technische Hochschule Ulm (THU), the ceremony was attended by Rector Prof. Volker Reuter, Prof. Dietmar Graeber, and Ms. Kaouther Belkilani.
This agreement formalizes the exchanges initiated during the German delegation’s visit to Tunisia and reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to develop a sustainable collaboration, particularly in the fields of:
– Energy and technology
– Energy economics
– Applied energy research
– Academic training and mobility
Through this strategic partnership, the University of Carthage reaffirms its commitment to internationalization, academic excellence, and the strengthening of international scientific cooperation.
