As part of the Tunisian-British bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research, and in implementation of the Declaration of Intent establishing the Hazem Ben Gacem Programme between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Oxford,
we are pleased to inform you that applications are now open for the 2025/2026 academic year for the following opportunities:

● Research Scholarships for Tunisian Professors/Researchers

These are intended for Tunisian academics holding a PhD in one of the fields of humanities and social sciences, who are actively involved in research at a Tunisian university or research center, and who wish to undertake a research visit at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford.
The 10-week research scholarship includes:

• Visa and travel expenses between Tunisia and Oxford
• Registration fees and living expenses
• Free accommodation

● Research Scholarships for Tunisian PhD Students

These are aimed at Tunisian students enrolled in a doctoral program in the humanities or social sciences, who wish to pursue part of their studies at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford.
The 10-week research scholarship includes:

• Visa and travel expenses between Tunisia and Oxford
• Registration fees and living expenses
• Free accommodation with St Antony’s students
