The national entrance exam for the first year of veterinary medicine studies in Sidi Thabet highlighted the outstanding performance of the University of Carthage, particularly students from the Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies of Bizerte (IPEIB) and the Higher Institute of Preparatory Studies in Biology-Geology of La Soukra (ISEPBG Soukra).

The IPEIB recorded the success of 10 students out of 32 registered candidates (31%). This success rate increases to 38.46% when excluding candidates who did not attend the exam (6 out of 32).

ISEPBG Soukra also recorded excellent results, with 34 successful candidates out of 116 registered students, a 29% success rate. When considering only students who sat for the exam (excluding 9 who were absent), the success rate increases to 31.77%.

In total, these two institutes secured 44 out of the 45 available seats—representing an impressive 98% of the total.
