As part of a scientific visit conducted by a delegation of researchers from the University of Carthage to Hassan II University – the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (IAV Hassan II) in Rabat, from 1 to 6 February 2026, Professor Nadia Mazoughi, President of the University of Carthage, took part in the visit, accompanied by Dr. Anis El Aoud, Head of the PRIMA Project, along with project team members Dr. Nadra Assas and Dr. Nahla Ben Salah.

The visit included a ceremony for the signing of a cooperation and partnership agreement with the host institution. Representing the Institute’s administration was Dr. Youssef Mohamed, Assistant Director in charge of Cooperation, Partnership, and Development, accompanied by Professor Hoda Timouria, Local Project Coordinator, and Dr. Mounia Nami, member of the project team. The event was attended by several academic staff and researchers from the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as by Dr. Mahmoud Hazin, Head of the Egyptian Research Team from the National Research Centre in Cairo.

All participants commended the level of fruitful cooperation between the two institutions and highlighted the active role played by researchers in supporting and strengthening scientific and academic partnerships between the two countries. The discussions underscored the promising prospects for launching joint research projects and enhancing scientific exchange in the future.
