Call for Scientific Cooperation Opportunity with German Universities

We are pleased to inform you that, as part of the German Excellence Strategy, the German government has recently approved funding of €539 million to support 70 centers of excellence in its universities starting in 2026.

Tunisian universities, including the University of Carthage (UCAR), are eligible to participate as international partners in these high-level research projects.

What you can do:

• • Review the list of selected projects in the attached document.

• • Identify projects related to your field of expertise.

• • Contact the German focal points directly by email. Their contact details are provided below in this announcement.

• • Propose flexible formats for collaboration: co-supervision of theses, joint publications, PhD student exchanges, cross-training, etc.
