On 27 March 2025, a meeting was held at Carthage University in the presence of Ms Nadia MZOUGHI AGUIR, President of the University, Ms Myriam Paquette-Côté, Director of the Quebec Office in Rabat (BQR), accompanied by Ms Khawla Seddiki, as well as university staff, Ms Hind Karoui, Director of ENAU and Mr Manef Abderrabba, Director of EFA. Manef Abderrabba, Director of the EFA.

The meeting was part of the BQR’s mission to Tunisia from 25 to 29 March 2025, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Quebec and Tunisia and deepening mutual understanding of the research and innovation ecosystem.

Discussions focused on the development of academic and scientific collaboration, support for academic institutions and partnership opportunities between Tunisian and Quebec universities. Emphasis was placed on the importance of knowledge transfer, student and researcher mobility, and opportunities for co-development of research projects in areas of common interest.

This meeting represents an important step in strengthening the academic and institutional links between the two regions, and opens the way to new prospects for cooperation.
