QUALITY & ENVIRONMENT POLICY

A policy outlining the University’s commitment to quality assurance, environmental protection, and continuous improvement in all its activities.

Founded in 1988, the University of Carthage (UCAR) is a multidisciplinary university spread across five governorates, comprising 35 higher education institutions, including 12 under joint supervision, as well as five research centers. Through an inclusive and participatory approach aimed at coherence and performance in its institutional governance system, the University of Carthage aspires to achieve sustainable overall performance. This ambition is based on the deployment of a culture of continuous improvement, reflected in effective management practices, the strengthening of knowledge-to-innovation transformation, the valorization of scientific research, and the development of educational management that ensures high-level academic learning. In this context, the President of the University of Carthage is committed to implementing and maintaining an Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, and to providing the human, technical, and financial resources necessary for its effectiveness.

This policy:

  • Is communicated, understood, and applied at all levels of the University; 
  • Is made available to relevant stakeholders; 
  • Is continuously promoted among all staff and students; 
  • Is periodically reviewed during management reviews, or exceptionally at the request of the University Council, to ensure its relevance, strategic adequacy, and effectiveness.
