University of Carthage Receives the NCEE Entrepreneurial University Award

The University of Carthage is proud to announce that it has been honored with the Entrepreneurial University Award, presented by the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE), during the official ceremony held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Cité des Sciences in Tunis. This distinction was awarded with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and the British Council.

This international recognition crowns several years of institutional commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial culture, promoting innovation, enhancing student employability, and strengthening ties between the university and its socio-economic environment.

Among the key strengths highlighted through this accreditation are a clear institutional leadership, a dynamic and well-structured entrepreneurial ecosystem, the progressive integration of entrepreneurship into academic programs, the richness of partnerships, and the central role played by the Carthage Student Entrepreneur Hub (PEEC) in driving and coordinating this momentum across the university.

The evaluation also identified promising areas for further development, particularly in terms of strategic formalization, impact monitoring, continuous capacity building for support teams, and strengthening inclusiveness.

The University of Carthage expresses its deep pride in this achievement and extends its sincere gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to this collective success. Special recognition goes to the PEEC, a true driving force behind this initiative, for its pivotal role in structuring, leading, and consolidating entrepreneurial activities within the university.

Our warmest congratulations and thanks go to the PEEC leadership team, the deans and directors of our institutions, academic coordinators, administrative staff, partners, and all student entrepreneurs who have embraced and advanced this vision with dedication and conviction.

This accreditation represents both a recognition and a responsibility, as well as a new momentum. It will further enhance the national and international visibility of the University of Carthage, strengthen its credibility among partners, and open new opportunities in innovation, startup creation, research valorization, and the development of student and scientific entrepreneurship.

👏 A collective achievement for the University of Carthage and a new step forward toward an even more innovative, entrepreneurial, and future-oriented university.
