On Monday, April 27, 2026, the University of Carthage welcomed a delegation from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) to its premises on the occasion of the signing of a framework cooperation agreement.

This agreement was signed by Ms. Nadia Mzoughi, President of the University of Carthage, and Mr. Duan Peng, President of BLCU, thereby formalizing the establishment of a structured, sustainable, and strategic academic partnership between the two institutions.

This agreement builds on the existing relations between the Chinese side and the Higher Institute of Languages of Tunis (ISLT), represented by its Director, Mr. Hichem Messaoudi, whose commitment and efforts were instrumental in bringing this agreement to fruition.

Through this partnership, both universities aim to develop and strengthen their cooperation in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and academic mobility.
