A working session was held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the University of Carthage, in the presence of Ms. Nadia Mzoughi Aguir, President of the University of Carthage, and His Excellency Mr. Moustapha Sow, Ambassador of Senegal to Tunisia.
The meeting focused on the Preparatory Classes for the Grandes Écoles (CPGE) project in Thiès, as well as on prospects for further cooperation between the University of Carthage and Senegal.
Discussions addressed several areas of mutual interest, including trainer training, academic and pedagogical support, faculty and student mobility, research, and innovation.
This meeting marks a new step towards strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between Tunisia and Senegal, notably in view of the forthcoming visit of a delegation from Senegal’s Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) to Tunisia.
The University of Carthage reaffirms its commitment to developing strategic partnerships with African higher education institutions and contributing to the advancement of academic, scientific, and knowledge-based cooperation across the continent.
