As part of the University of Carthage’s commitment to strengthening its institutions’ engagement with their surrounding communities and promoting cooperation between higher education institutions, a cooperation agreement was signed today, Friday, 9 October 2026, at the president of the University of Carthage, between the Higher Institute of Languages of Nabeul and the Bourguiba Institute of Modern Languages.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Nadia Mzoughi Aguir, President of the University of Carthage; Mr. Moez Chafra, President of the University of Tunis El Manar; Mr. Nader Hammami, Director of the Higher Institute of Languages of Nabeul; and Mr. Arafat Farroukh, Director of the Bourguiba Institute of Modern Languages.
This agreement aims to provide optimal conditions for teaching modern languages to the local community by making use of the classrooms at the Higher Institute of Languages of Nabeul to deliver language courses throughout the academic year and during the summer session.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions, expand access to language learning, and develop linguistic skills in response to the needs of students and the local community.
