The University of Carthage actively participates in the “Poli International Fest” in Romania

As part of Tunisia’s participation in the 2nd edition of the international event “Poli International Fest”, held on 14–15 May 2026 in Bucharest and organized by the Universitatea Națională de Știință și Tehnologie POLITEHNICA București in collaboration with the Embassy of Tunisia in Romania, a delegation from the Université de Carthage carried out an official visit to Romania under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The delegation was led by Pr. Nadia Mzoughi, President of the University of Carthage, accompanied by Pr. Houda Ben Attia Sethom, Director of ENICarthage, and Pr. Hakim Hammami, Director of ENIB.

A series of high-level meetings took place in the presence of H.E. Mr. Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Bucharest, whose support and efforts greatly contributed to facilitating exchanges and strengthening academic relations between Tunisian and Romanian universities.

The University of Carthage extends its sincere gratitude to the Universitatea Națională de Știință și Tehnologie POLITEHNICA București and the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages (FILS) for their warm welcome and excellent organization of this international event, which fostered academic and cultural dialogue, scientific research, and international openness.

This mission was marked by the signing of five Memorandums of Understanding with several prestigious Romanian universities:

– Bucharest University of Economic Studies

– National University of Theatre and Film I.L. Caragiale

– University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest

– Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest

– National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest

These new partnerships aim to strengthen academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation, promote student and staff mobility, and enhance the international visibility of the University of Carthage while consolidating its role in academic diplomacy.
