The University of Carthage had the honor of welcoming Ms Hilligje van’t Land, Secretary General of the International Association of Universities, during an official visit aimed at strengthening international cooperation and academic partnerships.

This meeting took place in the presence of the University President, Ms Nadia Mzoughi, as well as the Vice-Presidents Mr Mongi Besbes and Ms Afef Abdelkarim.

In the margins of this visit, discussions focused on the internationalization and quality of higher education, in connection with the international workshop “Higher Education at the Heart of the 2030 Agenda”, to be held on 21–22 April 2026 and organized within the framework of the Global Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development Cluster.
