University of Carthage Shines in the 6th Edition of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration Competition

The University of Carthage proudly participated in the 6th edition of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) competition, which concluded on February 26, 2025. The event featured outstanding participation from law, legal, and Sharia faculties, representing 121 universities from 24 countries and a total of 154 teams.

This competition is considered a leading platform for simulating international commercial arbitration cases. It offers students a unique experience by allowing them to submit written memoranda and present oral pleadings in Arabic, based on a fictional arbitration case, before a panel of esteemed international arbitrators. The event greatly enhances the practical application of the academic knowledge students gain throughout their university studies.

On this occasion, we are proud to announce that the University of Carthage team won second place — an honorable achievement that reflects the academic excellence and outstanding skills of our students.

In celebration of this success, the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences is organizing an award ceremony in honor of the winning team. The event will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1:30 PM, in the Dali Jazi Hall.

We warmly congratulate the university team on this well-deserved recognition and wish them continued success and distinction in international forums!
